Well here's what I've been doing the last few months: Trying not to fail Geometry and Biology and writing a novel for NaNoWriMo.
What is NaNoWriMo? It stands for National Novel Writing Month and it happens every November. The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in a month. It's a lot harder than you might think.
But I did finish, amazingly. I even went beyond it and finished the actual novel (sort of). It is a very freeing feeling. You learn a lot about yourself during NaNoWriMo amazingly. Now since November I've been catching up on all the sleep that I lost during that "wonderful" month. So I haven't been doing much editing.
However I've just recently started editing it. It's about 216 double spaced pages on my computer though there will probably be more considering I skipped a few (a lot) of parts during NaNoWriMo.
Now my question is this, would any of you be willing to read an excerp? It will probably two actually. The prologue and then something from somewhere in the middle. Anyway, if anyone would like to read it leave a comment and I'll post it up on here. Otherwise...

In the midst of the word he was trying to say,
In the midst of his laughter and glee,
He had softly and suddenly vanished away-
For the Snark *was* a Boojum, you see.
